This page was a legendary prank on the original XmodsXtreme site. When users clicked the link (despite being warned not to), they would be bombarded with over 200 JavaScript alert boxes containing silly messages, songs, and fake conversations.
It was a harmless but incredibly annoying joke that became famous in the early gaming community. Many forums would share links to similar pages as pranks.
The original page used a long series of alert()
JavaScript calls.
In 2005, browsers would dutifully show every single alert box, making it nearly
impossible to close them all quickly.
Modern browsers have safeguards against this kind of behavior, which is why we've created this museum version to preserve the experience safely.
